Cumulus Support

I have been using the betel_datasummary.php to display history and all of a sudden it stopped working with the following error:-

"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@janter.co.nz to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

Nothing has changed that I know of. Maybe corrupted file somewhere?
Any Ideas please?

I have tried refreshing all of the betel files with no luck.

I suspect your host has updated PHP and it is failing on the new PHP, additionally there is a problem trying to post an error document. You might be able to find the error in PHP by looking at any error logs on your hosting site and be able to fix the PHP.

I also noticed your dayfile.txt only goes up to 05/08/20 so something has gone wrong with your upload.

Thanks, I'll look into the suggestions.

I had a lot of power failures after the recent cyclones and had to recover the data.
Not sure why the dayfile is wrong as it should update overnight and it is OK on the laptop.
Can I just manually upload the correct dayfile.txt?

Getting ftp errors with no such directory. See attached log

Have to see what the Website provider has to say.

Hi Terry,

You can just upload the correct dayfile but that won't solve your problem. It might be helpful to turn on debug for a few minutes and then post the MXDiag file. That should show what file or directory it can't open.

EDIT: You posted again while I was typing the above. Does the weather directory exist on your server when you view through your FTP client?

yes, I can access in filezilla.
I found that I had to remove the - a from the FTP2Weather.bat
cd\cumulus\ftp-data\
ftp -s:daily.ftp

Perhaps my Host changed the ftp requirements.

Seems like it updated now. Will see what happens overnight Thanks for suggestion

Host says they see this in the error log

Would someone have a copy of their .htaccess file from an Apache server hosting cumulus1?

It may be a hidden file on the website so you would need to "Allow" viewing.

Mine didn't get backed up as it was hidden...I think.

Easy to rebuild in a text editir if I can find out what content is needed ?

Can someone please supply me with a link to the betel-datasummary.php install file that Betel wrote? I want to reload it and I haven't located a source.

All problems now fixed. Panic over.
I had a corrupted /weather directory. I copied all the files and then deleted the directory. Then recreated the directory and copied all the files back. Fixed.
Comparing permissions etc., I couldn't see any difference. Go figure!
PHP was just not working in the old /weather directory.
