Just a quick question for someone who would know. Are tooltips available for the Wind Direction chart?

good question that has come to my mind previously too ... would be handy on occasion. Maybe it is a text vs real issue?

Actually, the scatter plot is a deviation and handles the tooltip a bit different from e.g. the line or spline plot.

in CumulusUtils I use the following to get a good tooltip (see my site for an example):

                xDateFormat: '%A, %b %e %H:%M ',
                pointFormatter() {
                    return this.series.name + ': ' + this.y
                },
                headerFormat: '{point.key}'
            },
