Low Temp and similar not displaying

I have a Davis Vantage Pro 2 and have recently installed v:3.23.1, b:3221 and have a strange anomaly in that the Low Temp and other Lows are all displaying zeros, but everything else seems to be working OK. CumulusMX collects the data via my Weatherlink Live device.
I know that data from the weather station is available and getting through to CumulusMX as I have CumulusMX set to send data to the WUnderground network every 5 minutes and if I look at my data via that network, the Low data is displaying correctly there.
I've not made any changes to the relevant HTML pages (e.g. today.htm) and the field names seem to correct as tempTL and TtempTL.
Anyone any idea what could be causing this non-display of the Low data / what can I check?
Thanks

Very odd, I've not heard of that one before!
Can you post a screen shot of a page with the missing values?
First thing to check is the MXdiags log file for any obvious errors.
If that looks clean then switch on debug logging for 10 minutes or so, then post the log file here.

Thanks for responding.
I've attached a screenshot from the Today tab.
Tied up this evening, but will check the MXdiags log tomorrow.

Hi,
Looking at your realtime.txt
https://rochfordweather.co.uk/realtime.txt both the today low temp and low pressure show 0.0 at 00:00 Fields 29 and 30, and 37 and 38.
As Mark suggests check your MXdiags, and see if anything is happening at the midnight rollover time.
Enjoy,
Paul

I managed to run debug for 10 mins after all this evening, but I'll confess my lack of knowledge means that that I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for, so any help anyone can provide would be much appreciated.
I have attached 3 files, which i hope will be a) the correct ones and b) helpful!
the ServiceConsoleLog and associated 20230223-191929.txt file from the 11/12 mins debug run time this evening, plus I have also attached the first Txt file from this morning (20230223-000034.txt timed at 09:11 today) which certainly includes activity around the turn of the day, but whether it includes everything that should be there, I do not know!
Thanks in advance
Regards
Geoff

Hi,
The one MXdiags file starts at just after midnight when you restarted CMX. It is not a good practice to stop or start CMX close to the daily rollover time as lots of CMX things happen around that time. However. that log includes:
Code: Select all
2023-02-23 00:00:57.581 === Day reset, today = 23
2023-02-23 00:00:57.596 === Day reset for 22/02/2023 00:00:00
2023-02-23 00:00:57.690 Dayfile.txt entry:
2023-02-23 00:00:57.690 22/02/23,10,231,12:19,0.0,00:00,9.1,13:25,0.0,00:00,1010.0,23:57,0.0,00:00,0.0,6.9,21.7,5,10:55,0,00:00,94,00:12,0.15,0.0,9.1,13:25,8.1,15:57,0.0,00:00,0.0,00:00,0.0,00:00,7.1,15:41,0.0,00:00,219,11.4,0.0,0,00:00,0.0,00:00,9.1,13:25,0.0,00:00,9.1,13:25,963.9,0.0,00:00
2023-02-23 00:00:57.690 Dayfile.txt opened for writing
2023-02-23 00:00:57.690 Writing entry to dayfile.txt
2023-02-23 00:00:57.784 Dayfile log entry for 22/02/23 written
And in that dayfile.txt string fields 5, 6, 9, and 10 are the daily min for temp and press and these are at 0.0 and 00:00. I presume if you check your Dashboard > Data Logs > Dayfile you will see those values and time. Does it show the same for all days?
Sorry, I don't know what would cause that and a new MXdiags with debug and data logging enabled may show more details, preferable including end-of-day time.
Enjoy,
Paul

Thank you Paul, your comments led me to the cause of the problem.
I was initially puzzled as I had not restarted CumulusMX around midnight, but then I remembered that about a year ago I had set my old laptop (that I use to run my weather setup) to reboot at 23:58 every day. This was not directly connected with CumulusMX, but obviously restarted all running software.
For some reason this reboot had never caused the missing Low Temp display problem before but then, until a few days ago, I was running a CumulusMX that was quite a few versions out of date!
Anyway, problem solved and the Lows are now showing fine.
I appreciate you and Mark giving some time to this, many thanks.
All the best
Geoff
