Ecowitt HP 2560_c
I have just added an Ecowitt HP2560_C to my setup. It is reading from the same set of sensors as my Ecowitt GW2000 and I already have a CMX collecting its data but I was just wondering can CMX use the Ecowitt HP 2560_c in place of the GW2000 should the need ever arise???

Re: Ecowitt HP 2560_c
I have the 2551 console reading data from my WS68 (and associated CO2 sensor and lightning detector). I collect the data from a GW1000 gateway but it is possible to use the console to provide data to CumulusMX via the Custom Protocal setup on the console. Just check your console/manual if it provides this function - I would be very suprised if it didn't!

I can access the Custom Protocol setup via WSView Plus
Do I select HTTP (Ecowitt) as the protocol

Yes you should select HTTP (Ecowitt) on CumulusMX and set the Ecowitt Console with the correct info for your CumulusMX system (IP address and port - should be 80 usually!)
