My version: MX 3.23.3.b3221.
Hello, I have just updated with this version. everything seems to work correctly, the values of my probes go up in the "Gauges" menu. the "Chars" are plotted.
The IP address of the GW 1000 is correct.
But the dashboard does not update. Only the local time works.
In the settings/Program Settings, when I want to modify a parameter then save, the following message appears:
- "Localhost:8998 indicates Error: 500 - Error processing Program Option: The object reference is not set to an instance of an object."
Same thing in the Settings/Station Settings menu
Who can tell me what to do?
During the update, I unzipped the ZIP and copied the files in the root directory
Thanks

If you are sure you copied all the files from the zip, then flush your browser cache.

yes, all files, and no directories.
are there any directories to transfer?

Yes, you need to copy over the entire contents of the zip file including all the subdirectories.

copied and pasted all the folders and files from the ZIP file into the cumulus folder. For the settings, it's go well. But for the dashboard, no execution, just the local time as before.

Re: dashbord is down after an update
Have you tried to open your browser in private browsing mode and see if the dashboard works then? If it does, it is a browser cache issue. If this does not help, we will need contents of mxdiags folder zipped as an attachment.

Re: dashbord is down after an update
just curious, did you stop cumulusmx first of all before copying the new files overwriting the old ones, then restarting CumulusMX?
also check all files are correct:
Code: Select all
# Checking CumulusMX file integrity on Linux
# go to your installation directory (eg. /opt/CumulusMX/)
# and run the following command (add --quiet to end of line if only want to see errors):
# ---------------------------------------------------
# md5sum --check hash_md5_3221.txt
# ----------------------------------------------------
#
# Checking file integrity on Windows
# Start a PowerShell session
# go to your installation folder (eg. cd C:\CumulusMX)
# and run the following command:
# ---------------------------------------------------
# .\MXutils\windows\CheckMD5HashFile.ps1 -HashFile .\hash_md5_3221.txt
# ---------------------------------------------------- Eoledhv

Re: dashbord is down after an update
Hello,
@ ConligWX, yes, I stopped Cumulus and my browser
@SamiS, Great that's it. In private browsing, the dashboard works. I emptied the cash and everything is OK.
I didn't think about it at all, because the dashboard was working before.
Thanks to all for the help.
