Hello.
Since yesterday Cumulus is not downloading data from my station. Although the station have stored data.
I tried to delete the file dayfile.txt all ene10log.txt data and data from two days to see if Cumulus can get the station data, but does not.
My station has logger, because if I'm two or three days with the computer off when I switch it on, Cumulus download all the data.
I wonder if there is any way to make Cumulus downloaded from a particular date.
Thank you very much.

Re: can I force data download?
You could try this for the older data...

However, is it downloading current data?

Re: can I force data download?
Thanks!!!!!!
I already have the previous data and the graphics working properly.
You were very kind. I appreciate your help.
I think that option should be somewhere in the menus without having to go to .ini files or the like.
Thanks again!!!

Re: can I force data download?
Yes, I suppose it could be. It's tricky, though, because the data gets out of order when you do that; and it would probably have to force a restart immediately after you set the option. And it's not hard to edit the ini file, bearing in mind that it's not something that you should need to do very often, and there are lots of other things that could be added and there's a limit to what I can do in the time available.parruso wrote:I think that option should be somewhere in the menus without having to go to .ini files or the like.

Steve if you do have the time to add the option ... and to prevent any additional complications, how about implementing the option, not within the Cumulus interface/menus as such but as a command-line entry (such as 'Cumulus.exe /forcedownload') - this could/should hopefully prevent anyone not familiar with the new option (as if it was placed in the Cumulus menu) to unknowingly check mark the option without first having read about the consequences...steve wrote:Yes, I suppose it could be. Re: can I force data download?
That would be a good alternative way of doing it - because Cumulus really needs to be stopped, which is why it's tricky.gemini06720 wrote:Steve if you do have the time to add the option ... and to prevent any additional complications, how about implementing the option, not within the Cumulus interface/menus as such but as a command-line entry (such as 'Cumulus.exe /forcedownload') - this could/should hopefully prevent anyone not familiar with the new option (as if it was placed in the Cumulus menu) to unknowingly check mark the option without first having read about the consequences...
