Not sure if this has been flagged before but whilst browsing around for weather widgets I came across a site called WeatherWidgets.io
It seems pretty flexible with a very detailed tutorial video that suits my limited abilities with coding. It uses data from OpenWeather. I added a three day forecast only to my MX index page without it looking too out of place and will see how it goes.
