I will keep my CumulusMX locale setting to avoid data format issues as pointed out by the CumulusMX Conifg Wizzard.
I was just not aware that for the logfile naming the PC locale is used by CumulusMX and not the cumulus.ini locale setting.
I run a German Windows but prefer an English keyboard settings.

To be precise: the locale of the PC or of the commandline (you can give the locale on the commandline) is used. If a commandline locale is given that has priority. There is no Cumulus.ini locale setting afaik.

And btw: you run a German/Austrian PC that is relevant for month names (Januar/Jänner), date format, decimal separators and field separators. For CMX the keyboard layout is not relevant.
