Lightning Sensor and APRS Comments

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Lightning Sensor and APRS Comments

Post by pops1000uk »

Hi guys. I have a Lightning Sensor fitted to by station. Im using Cumulus MX 3.23.0.
I would like to show the lightning sensor on the website upload and APRS data.

I can see the sensor in the "Extra Sensors" section and its working fine. I suppose its just a matter of finding or editing the website files.

Also where do I find the section for a APRS sensors and how can I change the APRS Comments?
Thanks Lee

I wasn't aware that the APRS upload protocol accepted lightning data - do you have a reference?
Likewise, what are the APRS comments?

You cannot change any of the APRS settings other than enabling/disabling the upload of sensors via the settings.
