annual data page - catchup after hardware fail

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

annual data page - catchup after hardware fail

Post by Vegit8 »

Hi
I use beteljuice's annual data pages both on my site http://geoffwebber.co.uk/weather/betel_datasummary.php and on a friends site here https://www.charlesdowding.co.uk/weathe ... ummary.php.

As you can see there is a significant chunk of data missing from the latter site.

The laptop that he used died, so I had to recover the files and transfer them to a new laptop.
That was the easy bit.
As he uses a WLL device all data recorded since the laptop failure was retrieved from the Weather Link.com site.
Apart from sun hours and wind run being lost for the period of downtime (I understand these are calculated 'on the fly' by MX and not sent to WL.com)
I cannot find a way of generating the necessary files to populate the Annual data pages.

Any help gratefully received.

Thanks
flort

You need to run the CreateMissing utility which will create missing entries in your Dayfile.txt from the log files. Refer to the Wiki for details -
