Hello Hans,
my installation of CUtils for my Ecowitt weather station still has a few stumbling blocks.
The NOAA reports are not automatically updated via FTP, even though they are ready in the Reports Directory.
Then only the current Airlink values are displayed. The 3 hours and 24 hours and nowcast values are missing. The airlink.txt is probably not being generated correctly?
Where else can I change something?

Re: NAOO and Airlink problems
Hi Wilfried,
Besides that there were multiple issues with the extrasensors and other thing. So I suggest we start this anew: could you post the last logfile for the generation of the website? And please include your cumulusutils.ini so that I can rerun it here on my system. Skipping configured lines is a strange problem. So indeed the airlink.txt is not generated correctly to your configuration. The question is why
I do see the reports in CUtils so it is not the display but it is only the FTP transport. That is something you configure in CMX, CUtils only has a display task here. Notably the directory name can be configured (don't change the filenames!!). If other files are transferred then the FTP configuration must be OK.moppedhausi wrote: ↑Wed 11 Jan 2023 3:53 pm The NOAA reports are not automatically updated via FTP, even though they are ready in the Reports Directory.
OK. The first time we discussed this was here. My main conclusion was then that you may have two cumulusutils.ini files because the code only deals with the parameters of the lines you wish to see:moppedhausi wrote: ↑Wed 11 Jan 2023 3:53 pm Then only the current Airlink values are displayed. Code: Select all
[AirLink]
CountrySelected=EU
WantToSeeNow=true
WantToSeeNowCast=true
WantToSee1hr=true
WantToSee3hr=true
WantToSee24hr=true
WantToSeeWind=true
StandAloneModule=false
ReferenceLineThickness=4
CleanupAirlinkLogs=false
Nowhere: CUtils is only configured with cumulusutils.ini, some settings in Cumulus.ini (but if those fail most likely CMX won't run). The fact that it runs means you have installed it correctly.

Re: NAOO and Airlink problems
OK. Found it: the words true and false MUST be lowercase.
In other cases I force the word that is entered by the user to lowercase but I did not do it here. So this is a bug, consider this fixed for a next release.
The workaround is to use the word lowercase completely (change the capital T to lowercase t.
Please note that your first post of cumulusutils.ini does have the lowercase word true, so it has been edited in between.

Re: NAOO and Airlink problems
Good
What is left now is entering the normal values in the Cumulus.ini section [NOAA] which will greatly enhance the use of the 'Regen Grafik' and the 'Temp Grafik'. When you are done with that the functional configuration of CUtils is mostly - elementary - done. Whats left then are colours and details
The parametersmay give some pleasure
* possible values are StationAverage , Normal, Both
