Hmm, OK, so launching .Net apps in 64 bit mode IS supported on your system.

Later: Ah! Found the problem, the Release build still had the "32 bit preferred" flag set.
The exe in the zip attached is the same as the current release, but I used the corflags utility to remove the 32 bit preferred flag from it.
This should fix the problem. The next build will have that flag removed automatically.

Just tested on my Windows 7 and indeed fixes the issue.
