I have the following situation where the Dashboard Menu List looks like this:
The "Now' menu list looks like this:
I would like to change the Dashboard setting to where it appears like the Now list, which is slightly more condensed and fills out a single line.
If you know what change to make to accomplish this, I would be grateful.
Thanks

Re: Menu Layout
I am not seeing this at all with my own PC. If i resize the browser until the top bar wraps, then Settings, Edit and Utils wraps, and thats if I select either Now or Dashboard. But then again I view my dashboard with Chrome in full screen
what are you viewing the dashboard with? Tablet? phone, monitor? what browser are you using?

Re: Menu Layout
Hi Simon,
I figured out what was causing the "problem". It all had to do with my browser font settings. I was using Chrome with a minimum font size of 16 because of my poor eyesight. But when I lowered it to 13, the "Utils' menu item jumped back onto the same line as the others. Anything set to 14 or higher causes the shift.
I'll have to do some fiddling around with the font settings to see what I can get away with so both Cumulus and my eyes are somewhat happy.
Thank you for the reply.
Take care,
Bob

Re: Menu Layout
You know, Simon, I've spent a minute or two thinking about the menu situation, and I believe my original curiosity is still mostly valid because even with the minimum font size set at 16, all of the dropdown menus look as intended except for the Dashboard and Gauges. Perhaps someone who understands the programming can shed some light on why this is the case.

Re: Menu Layout
yes there does seem to be some difference in view from the "dashboard" to "now" buttons the tabs seem to move slightly which may suggest a difference in sizing/layout perhaps.

Re: Menu Layout
You could always try using the alternate interface for the dashboard as that less menu intensive and also allows for colour and font changes.

Re: Menu Layout
I think it is the content that is determining the width, and the content is slightly variable in size depending on the page.
