Cumulus Support

Hi everyone,
After a long absence I'm back again! I've recently installed a new Vantage Vue with weatherlink live. I have everything set up and working, my only problem is Cumulus is not showing any rain data at all, even though weatherlink is displaying it. I'm completely lost, maybe its just a simple setting I'm missing but I cannot find anything.

If you have just installed CMX, then it will start counting rainfall from the time of install.

You have two options...

1. Set the This Years Rainfall (I think that's right, I do not have access to a system at the mo) in the station settings. And just carry on

2. If you have a Pro subscription on WeatherLink.com, then you could:
A. Stop CMX
B. Delete the contents of your data folder.
C. Edit your cumulus.ini to change the start date to when your WeatherLink.com data starts
D. Start CMX again

It will download all your historic data and process it. Note that depending on how much historic data you have this could take a very long time!

Thanks @mcrossley, I tried that, but its still not updating the rain data. We've just had a few mm but cumulus has updated the rain data.

Please switch on debug and data logging, after a few minutes zip up your latest MXdiags file and attach it here.

Please leave the logging on and wait for the next rain tip, then zip up the MXdiags file again and post that.

Hope I have done this right! Need to wait for some rain now (does rain dance.....)

I see a problem, but do not know what has triggered it yet.

Can you remember what setting you changed @20:56 today?
Also, you do not have a Pro subscription at Weatherlink.com, so you may as well remove the API details from the config - it just adds overhead that fails.

I probably stopped and restarted cumulus. Stopped and restarted debugging, nothing else I think.

OK, let CMX rollover at midnight, and I think it will start recording rainfall after that.

It seems to be working now Mark! Thanks a mill for all your help.

Data is not accurate as I've only set up the station in the last week. I only got it into position on Tuesday. I'm happy now as it will be reporting accuratly from the start of next year. I have to import the data from my existing station from the last 3 years.
