Raspberry Pi image error in size

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Raspberry Pi image error in size

Post by BrunswickWeather »

The current Raspberry Pi image (3.22.4) is the wrong size as per image. Will not install.

I'm no expert in installing Pi images, but I couldn't help but notice the file is in RAR format rather than the customary ZIP format. Does that make a difference? If it does then perhaps we need the file in ZIP format?

Raspberry Pi Imager does not accept *.rar files (only works with *.img, *.zip, *.iso, *.gz, *.xz and *.zst)

So @dazza1223 - please compress the image to an *.zip as before.

Meanwhile, @BrunswickWeather could either unzip the *.rar before using it (that produces a file called baseimage-3.22.4.img, which is usable), or use Balena Etcher instead of the generally-preferred Raspberry Pi Imager.
