CMX crashed this morning, stumbling during a realtime ftp upload - see attached log file.
Yesterday I made two modifications, although not sure this might just be coincidence.
1. Changed my weather station from a VP2 (via usb/serial) to a WLL getting the same ISS feed. The WLL has been operating without issue for most of this year (uploading to Weatherlink) but not as my CMX station - except on a couple of occasions as a trial, which were successful.
2. Then I added a newly purchased AirLink ... hence the reason for (1). This successfully uploads to Weatherlink. I think I have the airlink as a node of the WLL.
It was a bit of a fiddle (mainly due to my incompetence!) but all seemed to be working ... until about 2.5 hours later. The error is reminiscent of upload problems I have had previously that Mark resolved, although they usually were MySQL failures.
Any help would be appreciated

Re: CMX crash
I'll try and find where there is some uncaught code, but the crash appears to be in mono due to a network disconnection during a MySQL operation.
There are quite a few recovered errors in that log due to network problems. The real-time FTP keeps getting socket closed errors and having to reconnect. There are also a couple of other MySQL errors due to network issues - but these are trapped by CMX.

Re: CMX crash
I'm very grateful - thank you. I will go back to the web host people and see if there is anything at their end. The errors, when they do arise, all seem to happen around 23:00 - 02:00 but for the past few months these have been nicely dealt with. Unfortunately, there are a lot of factors that could influence uploads to the web host.

Re: CMX crash
About 10 days have passed without another crash. I suspect in the process of changing the station and attaching the airlink I left either cmx or perhaps the rpi requiring one more reboot.
On the matter of the mysql errors, I have an alarm set for these with a threshold of 2. An alarm is triggered every 2 - 4 days. The tables often/perhaps usually get updated none-the-less. What is being counted towards the threshold? I am tempted to increase it a bit, but feel like I'm flying in the dark and not knowing what I am really doing ... like a lot of aspects of managing my weather station and website

Re: CMX crash
The MySQL alarm is triggered if an unrecoverable error occurs during an Insert.
