Problem with version 3.22.0 for RPI

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

This is pertinent:

Looks like your MX installed location is different to what is in /etc/systemd/system/cumulusmx.service file. They should be the same.

This problem is caused by modifications that dazza1223 suggested for the cumulusmx.service -file. You should restore it to its original contents that was on the image.

Its all working, it was the uninstalling and reinstalling of Mono that did it.
If anyone runs CMX on a RPI Zero you need to remove Mono then reinstall it.
To Remove use - sudo apt autoremove mono-complete
To reinstall use - sudo apt install mono-complete

May I thank everyone for all their help, greatly apricated :-)

I will upgrade to a RPI 3 or 4 when you can buy them again, which I understand is unlikely before Oct 2023!

All the best, MetOfficeMK

Which is why I'm originally asked back in November what model you were running on! ;)

Now I need to find out if I can update Jan 2023's rainfall. I have the figures for each day but need to know how to add them into the records

simple method - use "Station Settings | Annual rainfall"
Add your total for the year so far in there, and set the Year to which it applies to 2023.

Complex method, you would have to create a valid dayfile entry for every day of the year so far and add your daily rain into each day along with all the other data.
