WLL error every 30 seconds

In earlier versions and latest build 3206 I am still getting the error every 30 seconds.
2022-09-30 16:41:03.159 ERROR: No broadcast data received from the WLL for 30 seconds
Other than this error message all seems to be working fine - WL.com is being updated at the 5-minute interval, and CumulusMX is showing wind and other data changes in the Dashboard dials every few seconds, and 5-min interval logs are ok.
Everything seems ok in WL.com Health Data.
Any suggestion where and what I should look for?
Enjoy,
Paul

That means you are not getting the real-time data every 2.5 seconds. CMX also manually polls the device periodically as the real-time broadcasts do not contain all the required data fields, so what you are seeing is just those updates.
It is probably your firewall blocking the inbound messages. I'm on my phone now so cannot look up the port but this has come up before if you want to try a search in the meantime.

Thanks Mark,
I tried to go into Windows Firewall and by some clicking got an error message:
The Windows Defender Firewall with Advance Security snap-in failed to load. Restart the Windows Defender Firewall service on the computer that you are managing.
Error code 0x6D9
I found the Services and Windows Defender Firewall and select [Start] the service, and with a [Start] that got a warning:
Windows could not start the Windows Defender Firewall service on Local Computer.
Error 1062 The dependency service or group failed to start.
Windows Defender Firewall shows Startup Type: Automatic, and Log On As: Local Service
I've called the repair shop but they can't help me over the phone until Monday. In the meantime I've gone into Windows Security and Maintenance and have added CumulusMX.exe in the Exploit protection and can't see how I can add WLL there. I really don't know what I am doing but giving it a try anyway. Is the no broadcast error I am getting about CumulusMX not being able to access or a WLL transmitting issue? and where would I find the port listing?
Enjoy,
Paul

Paul the two dependencies in Windows 10 for Windows Defender Firewall are :
Remote Procedure Call
Windows Defender Firewall Authorisation Driver
My guess is if you look in services RPC is nor running for some reason.

Hi Paul, the multicasts are sent on UDP port 22222.
If you fire up your WeatherLink app on your phone, open your station and the "Last Updated: xxx" at the top of the screen changes to "LIVE", then your phone app is receiving the multicasts and you should see the wind values change every 2.5 seconds.
Note though that lots of people struggle to get the live updates working on the phone app - mine is hit and miss though I have a workaround that always makes it work for me. Other people have tried my "fudge" and it hasn't worked for them.

Thanks Mark,
I hadn't paid much attention to that "Station updates: but on my phone, and tablet, for my WL.com WLLive account it shows LIVE.
For my WL.com with WiFiLogger it shows a time and presume that is fine as WiFiLogger doesn't update live the way WLL does?
I am still having some issues with my Windows 10 PC but CMXs are running and updating fine. Will need to wait for repair shop support to help on Firewall, and a couple of other things like Diagnostic Policy Service is not running message that pops up when I try to connect to printer.
Enjoy,
Paul

Correct the WiFi logger does not do the multicast afaik.
If you let you pc people know you want to allow inbound UDP on port 22222 from any IP, they should be able to configure it for you.

No more "ERROR: No broadcast data received from the WLL for 30 seconds" after fixing the PC.
Enjoy,
Paul
