Yes :

Code: Select all

2023-01-22 12:20:21.704 Wunderground: Response = BadGateway: <html>
<head><title>502 Bad Gateway</title></head>
<body>
<center><h1>502 Bad Gateway</h1></center>
<hr><center>nginx</center>
</body>
</html>

EDIT: And interestingly enough, CMX does not let me change the password for the StationKey. So how to proceed? In the inifile?
EDIT2: And in the Cumulus.ini file the password actually is equal to the Station Key. So some confirmation error in CMX.
EDIT3: Modified the password in System Key in the inifile, restarted CMX and no more error messages.

Andy, yes, just noticed irregular upload times but it seems it's at their end, not mine.

I have just had a look at their support page and it says this:
Weathunderground Problems.png
This is their support page https://support.weather.com/s/?type=wu&language=en_US

So they know that there is a problem at their end and not ours.

Checking MXdiags I had this earlier today.

Otherwise seems ok. https://www.wunderground.com/dashboard/pws/ITOTTON2

I haven't used WU for a couple of years now, but I just tried my Station Key in the password field and it saved OK?

NOTE folks: It is the Station Key you need to use, not the API Key.

The problem is 100% their side because look at this.

4:50 AM -3.2 °C -4.2 °C 93 % North 0.0 km/h 0.0 km/h 1,034.30 hPa 0.00 mm 0.00 mm 0 0 w/m²
10:00 AM -0.3 °C -1.3 °C 93 % North 0.0 km/h 1.6 km/h 1,035.46 hPa 0.00 mm 0.00 mm 0 102 w/m²
3:00 PM 5.1 °C 2.9 °C 86 % North 0.0 km/h 3.2 km/h 1,034.71 hPa 0.00 mm 0.00 mm 0 65 w/m²
3:10 PM 5.1 °C 2.8 °C 85 % SSE 1.6 km/h 6.4 km/h 1,034.51 hPa 0.00 mm 0.00 mm 0 56 w/m²

This is a copy of my table on the Wunderground website, you can see big time gaps in it.
It has nothing to do with the Station Key.

Looking at the type and sequence of those errors, they have issues in their internal networks and possibly their data collection application too. So nothing CMX related.

Just to say that you're not alone. My data failed yesterday (21st Jan 2023) at 15:45, that's after no data between 12:45 and 15:30.

Just two random updated of data today 09:00 and 14:15.

Leaving it today to see if there are any issues at Wunderground when they are fully staffed tomorrow. I certainly havent changed anything.

wunderground has been unstable since before the takeover by IBM (2015), its a hit or miss service that's not really even worth the effort to talk about. :groan:

As Mike posted today 1:56pm on this thread, wundergroud’s own support page states there is currently a partial outage on weatherstation uploads. So they are aware of the problem, no need to suspect your own system.
