b3203 - Local Copy issue

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

b3203 - Local Copy issue

Post by philpugh »

I have just upgraded one of my systems to b3203 and everything seems to be working but there is a 'worrying' message in the MXDiags log. At the start of each cycle (1 minute interval) it complains about
LocalCopy: Error with paths - Index was outside the bounds of the array.
I have attached a copy of the log file - debug enabled a minute or so in.

The local files (.json etc) are being copied over as far as I can tell.

Important to know that my webserver and CumulusMX are co-hosted on the same RPi4 so I don't do FTP/SFTP etc

Phil

Thanks Phil, not a benign error depending on your configuration :(
Fixed for the next release...

I also have a problem with the local copy after upgrading to b3203.

I don’t use ftp, only local copy for a local website on my network.

Running on a raspberrypi saving local to /var/www/html/ works on version b3202 under internet settings Web/FTP site.

but on version b3203 the files are updating in /home/pi/CumulusMX/web but “Local copy destination folder path” copy’s the files to /home/pi/CumulusMX instead. Not taking any notice of the set path.

Reverting to b3202 it saves the files to the correct place.
