Hi everyone,
I am trying to upload my realtime.txt file through ftp to my hosting.
I am sure i am misspelling something but i dont know what can be. On Web/ftp site i got
Hostname: ftp.myserver.com
FTP Protocol to use: 0 -FTP
FTP port: 21 (my ftp hosting client says port 21)
Remote ftp directory (i think here is the main issue): /home/qtpfnsomething/meteosomething/
Username: myserveradmin@myserver.com
Password: ··········
I am using coreftp on my pc and i am able to connect to my ftp server and upload files. It seems, i am doing something worng on my cumulus configuration that keeps not letting cumulus to connect to my ftp server.
Thanks in advanced!!
PS: in my remote ftp directoy i have tryed:
ftp.myserver.com/homeqtpfnsomething/meteosomething/
/homeqtpfnsomething/meteosomething
//ftp.myserver.com/homeqtpfnsomething/meteosomething/

Re: Remote Directory FTP Issue
1) don't change ActiveFTP manually in Cumulus.ini, so keep it to 0
2) your remote ftp dir must probably be something like /httpdocs/sub1/sub2 i.e. it must be the directory where your website is located. And yes, with your povider /httpdocs can be /home. The rest of the config for plain old FTP seems OK.
If you can't get it to work could you pleas post the MXdiags logfile with debug enabled?
