Create Missing - corrupted log files

When I ran Create Missing it failed. After investigating I found 2 of my log files were very badly corrupted and contained mainly NUL values.

These are quite old files, one from 2017 and one from 2018 and unfortunately dont have backups going that far back so no chance of recovering. Dayfile.txt has good data for these periods so that is good.

If I rename the corrupted log files and run Create Missing, will it affect the data in my dayfile or will it just skip over it ignore it.

It will just flag those days as having no log data and not do anything with the corresponding dayfile entries.

Hi there, I am having a small problem with Create Missing where it coughs when it reads an empty line at the end of each log file. Apart from manually editing each log file, is there anything else that I should try.

I'll add a ToDo item to ignore blank lines, but meantime you will have to manually delete them. Do you know how they got there?
