I'm anticipating that I will break my record of 33.1 by a significant amount (I'm thinking 37 on Monday) but my site is only two years old :)

Mine is 32.7°C. touch and go for here. Tuesday pushes the heat east and north, so I only get one shot at it.

Assuming we haven't all succumbed to the heat!! :D

35.4C here back on 25 July 2019 with records starting in May 2009. If the predictions are to be believed I think my record will go.

Exciting times! :D
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

Not looking particularly exciting here. My current record looks safe.

You don't have the hotter air yet - although I do agree with what you say as your airflow will be off the English channel.

Well my record has gone already - now 35.1 and still climbing, and higher temperatures predicted tomorrow.
(previous record was 34.6 on 25th July 2019)

Sunny Jersey is 36.0C at the moment and still climbing with an easterly drift from France. Tomorrow for me is forecast to be much cooler with a westerly wind and about 24C max.

Now 32.6c so getting close to my 12 year high temperature of 33.7 on 25 July 2019, seems likely that it will be exceeded today. One record that will certainly go is highest minimum temperature which is 17.8c on 24 July 2012. It only got down to 19.4c last night and it certainly will not get below that before midnight, forecast is for it to stay above 23C. This highest minimum will probably be broken again tomorrow but that depends on exactly when the front moves across.

35.5°C here now beating 35.4°C back in July 2019. With temps due to peak in a couple of hours it’s going to be smashed.

Highest minimum of 20.6°C back in July 2016 seems likely to go too.
Cheers,
Ray, Cheshire.

My record went at 15:29, at 33.3, it’s not pleasant outside, feel for those of you up in the high 30s.

My record of 32.9 (July 2020) has been blown out of the water - 35.8 recorded at 14:44 UTC. Although I have only been at this site for just over two years, I have had my VP2 recording for 15 years now - and this is easily the hottest day I have recorded at any of my sites.

Now at 36.4°C but check humidity. Just 20% here - a new July record. All-time is 17% back in March 2017.

Temp rise slowing down now and currently 37.8C and 28% humidity. This is well over my record of 36.4C on 24 July 2019. My highest summer min temp was 19.3C on 20 July 2021 which should be broken tonight.
