weard database isue,, SQLlite / mySQL

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

weard database isue,, SQLlite / mySQL

Post by spatieman »

due the fact that i didnt know i could set spike limits my database (mySQL in this case) had a lot of unusual spikes
thanks to phpmyadmin i manage to fix them all to normal values (and yes, i set the spike limits before)

with the dashboard sqleditor i could reset the values in them also.
however....

when i pull up the records all time stats, they still show up !
i am for 99% sure that the unwanted values are out of the SQLlite and mySQL databases, i even deleted the daylychanged ini files.

so, could someone tell me what i am missing ?
i know the data is stored in cumulusMX/data ,

You will have to use the Record editors to fix those as the data that is used to create them is not the database it is the monthly/daily log txt files.

Lucky for you Mark has now made it much easier as you just have to load the monthly files by clicking on the button and they click on the individual values to change them.
