I have started using the beta version 1.8.9 from the 30th December 2009.
I tried to access the weather diary on 1st January 2010 and the attached bug report came up.
I also get bug reports if i try to open this month and this year also.
Also i am getting regular error messages saying "lost sensor contact!!!", but i have got new batteries in both the console and outside sensors?
I am using a Watson W-8681

Re: Bug report
I suspect you have a corrupted diary, as 'this month' and 'this year' also try to access it. If you attach it here (zipped up) I'll have a look. It's the log.xml file in the data folder. You can send me it in a private message if you'd rather it not be made public.Neil1970 wrote:I tried to access the weather diary on 1st January 2010 and the attached bug report came up.

Re: Bug report
That's odd, it should create the 'blank' log.xml file the first time you run it. Have you ever used the weather diary before? You presumably have other files i n the data folder, such as an up-to-date jan10log.txt?Neil1970 wrote:I have no log.xml file in the data folder? Re: Bug report
I just spotted that you've installed Cumulus under C:\ProgramData which is a bit unusual; I don't think you're supposed to install software in there. I think you probably have a permissions problem or similar and Cumulus is unable to create files in there; I can't explain how it managed to create dec09log.txt, though, or even how it's working at all!
