Low Dew Point / Humidity since latest release

It appears that since I installed the latest release (3183) that the humidity / dew point falls markedly during the evening and overnight e.g. at the moment (22:24 BST, 18 May it us reading 48% humidity and TD 1 C when it should be up around 11 C. Strangely come the morning it quickly rises back to where it should be. Any thoughts anyone?

I had similar reading a while back but NOT after a CumulusMX update. The cure was to clean the weather Radiation Shield and the sensor itself with a light bruch. The Radiation Shield had a large amount of spider web and dust.

The humidity readings just come from your station, or are you saying the values in CMX are different from your station console?

No the readings are the same. It just seems bizarre that during the day the TD / humidity seems Ok but then it very quickly falls in the late afternoon / evening e.g. this evening TD fell from 10.7C at 17:11 L to 2.5 C at 1735L.

Are you using a Davis VP2 by any chance?

It appears that the humidity sensor was u/s. I have replaced it and all now seems ok. It was confusing as it seemed to fail at the same time that I uploaded the latest Cumulus software
