Lost Sensor Contact

I am getting a lot of Lost Sensor Contact errors on the latest version of Cumulus I have just installed. Would that more likely be a USB error, or a battery dying out in the remote transmitter?

If you are in the UK and going sub-zero, quite likely your batteries, especially if you were on the 'edge' of reception anyway. Although this seems to be usually precceded by strange figures on Watson (sic) type stations.

Sometimes just moving the base unit a few inches differently (away from other electronics) makes a difference !

Hint: Tell us where you are, what you've got - and post it in the relevant area ;)

Sorry. I'm in Queensland Australia, it's the middle of summer, and the unit has been in place just over 12 months working fine. It's a X7062 (Rebadged MyDEL WX2008 MK 2)

If it's been in use over 12 months, I'd say change the batteries (good alkaline, others don't like it when it does go cold, and rechargeables don't give the full voltage out)

It may be that you were getting these before but didn't even know as Cumulus wasn't reporting them.
