Getting Davis pro2 battery status

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Getting Davis pro2 battery status

Post by Qur3an »

Hello everyone,

I have Davis pro2 plus weather station connected to Meteo-pi logger which in turn is connected to CumulsMX software.
I need your help on how I can receive "Transmitter Battery Status" and "Console Battery Voltage" and show them on CumulusMX version 3.15.3.

Thank you in advance

the CUTags.php processed by CumulusMX should contain both battery and txbattery webtags or i guess you could add the webtags to the end of the websitedata.json file like so:

Code: Select all

"pressH":"<#pressH>",
"TpressH":"<#TpressH>"
"battery":"<#battery>"
"txbattery":"<#txbattery>"
}

I was interested in adding this to MX as I had it Cumulus1. I added the battery code to the websitedataT.json and although the websitedata.json file on the server showed the voltages the web pages were blank of all data readings until I removed that code. So is there another step in the process?

The sample code above is missing a couple of commas after "<#TpressH>" and "<#battery>"
