Got CMX and CUtils working (some of it). :groan: Now no Airlink (table or graph). I have scoured the relevant Wiki and can't find the error. Should there be only one 'extra web file' :? Strangely, the weather data has disappeared from WL (both desktop and mobile) but the Airlink data is there. Is that a clue :?: Anyway, any help much appreciated, as always. RPi now on all the time, so you can look at Munty Weather if you like. Regards Ted

Can't really support right now, maybe some others can help you in the meantime. I'll be back somewhere next weekend so somewhere beginning next week I guess.

I assume you did setup the crontab procedure correctly. Could you post that? Could you also post the logfile for the last 'website' run and the logfile for the 'interval frequency' run?

Now no Airlink (table or graph).
MuntyWeather.org Extra sensors Airlink Table View and Graph View seem to be ok but last dated May 24th.
Strangely, the weather data has disappeared from WL (both desktop and mobile) but the Airlink data is there. Is that a clue :?:
What is your WL.com Bulletin page URL?

Thanks for replies That's right, Paul, it was all working on Windows, but I haven't been so successful with Linux (and RPi 400).
I will try to understand yours and Hans' replies and get back to you.

Thanks for the WL.com link.
Your Bulletin page shows the site was last updated May 21st so no recent data, and nothing on AirLink.
Your CUtils website seems to have current data in the home page.
Are you using WL Live for your CumulusMX station source?

Just realised my bank card had expired on AirLink Now updated and the AirLink is showing on Weatherlink. :D But still no weather. Also still no Airlink on Website. I've looked at Airlinkrealtime.txt which seems to update but there isn't much in the file. There should be a file for the graphs as well?

I am able to find you on WL.com Bulletin and the WL App but no current data for either weather or AQ.

Are you using WL Live for your CumulusMX station source?
Do you have all the settings for the station, and for extra sensors i.e. AirLink?
Anything in the MXdiags on AirLink?

The CumulusMX default template has charts, similar to what is on your localhost Dashboard. Does your data and charts show correct on your localhost Dashboard?

Enjoy,
Paul

My Reply just disappeared. :o Start again. I use serial connection to RPi 400. Have now got static Airlink values on CMX and webpage but no graph. When specifying 'external program' do I prefix executable name with 'mono' ?

Hi Ted,
My Reply just disappeared. :o Start again.
Done that a few times :o usually when someone else posted during the typing of the message. I now try to do a [Review] before [Submit} to avoid that.
Have now got static Airlink values on CMX and webpage but no graph.
Have you ticked Log Extra sensors in Station Settings > Common Options > Extra sensors?
Air Quality graphs should be available in the localhost Dashboard Charts > Recent Charts and > Select-A-Chart
and the same if you were using the default CumulusMX website
When specifying 'external program' do I prefix executable name with 'mono' ?
Sorry can't be of any help on other than simple PC-Windows

Enjoy,
Paul

No, not required because you execute from CMX which is already running in mono.

Hi Ted,

I understand that most problems are solved now (I hope), but I still see an issue around the website.
I have the following remarks:
  1. As you use the website, you must run CUtils once per day with the argument website (with or without thrifty)
  2. Automating the runs of CUtils on the RPi is most easily done using crontab (this contains an example). When using crontab do not use the External Program feature of CMX, that becomes very confusing.
  3. You have to switch the library parameters to false.
Let me know how you get on.

Thanks @PaulMy for helping out.

Hi Hans, I run CUtils interactively every morning after rollover. Reluctant to add another layer of complexity until I've got it all working. Still no Airlink graphs. I attach two logiles (one 'interval', one 'website'). At least that is the intention, which I would be grateful if you could look at.
Thanks and regards Ted

Hi Ted, the following:
  1. Both logfiles have a log of a UserAskedData-run to start with which within the same minute is followed by a second UserAskedData-run (the 1042 log) and the other is directly followed by a website run (the 1043 log). Can you explain to me how you do those runs? Is External Programs configured with a run? If yes, could you post a screenshot of the External Programs config?
  2. There is a connection refused message when trying to get some webtags information as if CMX is not running when you run Cutils (in the 1043 log). It should be!
  3. When fetching the map (residing on the meteo-wagenborgen.nl server) In both logfiles it says: OPENSSL_internal:CERTIFICATE_VERIFY_FAILED.
At the moment it is clear the issue is mainly in the way CUtils is run and configured (SFTP).
I have the following remarks:
  1. Could you be a bit more specific on how you run CUtils (time between commands, which command first etc...)?
  2. Could you check whether any file on the server is recent (is the filetransfer correct?)
  3. Could you verify CMX is running by trying the URL for the webtags: http://localhost:8998/api/tags/process. ... sion&build
(if you run this on another machine than the RPi but within your network you must use the ip-address iso localhost)
This should give you the CMX version and build nr in the browser screen.
  4. Wrt the Certificate failed message you must follow the instructions from NOTE 3 (release post)
Hans
