Editing today's rain total

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Editing today's rain total

Post by freddie »

My Great Dane was charging around the garden yesterday evening (think Scooby Doo running away from a ghost :) ) and bumped into the post holding my Davis VP2. This triggered a rain tip. 15 minutes later, I noticed the tip and used the "Edit -> Today's rain" option to remove the spurious tip. Although this does correct the "today" total, it didn't correct the "rain since midnight" total.

I don't know if I have understood exactly the problem,
I believe that editing today's rain corrects exactly that: the rain that has been recorded since the start of the new day.
For the other days, as far as I know, you have to edit the dayfile.txt file.

I hope this can help you; otherwise, let me know
