Error uploading to WOW and Weathercloud SOLVED

I have MX running on a pi zero 2 with a fine offset station attached via usb. Every now and then something locks up - I don't know if it's the station or the pi but after a reboot everything usually starts working again, however after this happened a few days ago I noticed that MX wasn't uploading to Met Office WOW or Weathercloud (the only two I send data to). In the MXdiags file I see these error messages,

2022-04-03 10:00:00.335 WeatherCloud: ERROR - Operation already in progress
2022-04-03 10:00:00.337 WOW update: Operation already in progress

Any Ideas?

it could mean that you have already sent data in the allowed posting interval (defined by the weather site).
E.g. you are supposed to send an update only every 5 minutes, but you send one every minute ...

Please switch on debug logging, let CMX run for a while then pot the latest MXdiags file.

I have switched debugg logging on and I have copied the results either side of the errors. I don't know if you need the whole file or not?

Steve, you said that you have a FineOffset attached via USB, but the log file shows...?

2022-05-31 15:21:49.712 Station type: Davis Vantage Pro2

Which appears to be running an TCP/IP logger of some sort?

You are also on an older version of CMX - v.3.15.3, we are now on v3.17.0. Would it be possible to update CMX, then do another short run with debug logging enabled?

I will do an update Tomorrow.

I did have a fine offset but now switched to running weatherduino with tcp/ip, hence the Davis vp2 settings :)

Hi,
I did the update just now, let it run for a few minutes. This is the debug log,

It's very odd, every http request CMX sends gets an error of already in progress, that is WOW, WeatherCloud and your Airlink.

That is apart from the very first request, which is to the AirLink using IP address 0.0.0.0. That errors, with an exception, and thereafter no http request works. I suspect that something is hanging up in mono due to that error.

You do not have an IP address configured for the AirLink, could you put that in, or disable the AirLink in the config.

Thanks,

I don't know why the 'airlink' was enabled but disabling them has worked. I have checked this morning and CMX is uploading data again.

Thanks again, Steve
