Thanks Kevin.
I guess if I looked I would have seen that.

I think I've spotted where I introduced the bug, and annoyingly, it was very recently. I think it was the 'second chance rain total reset' that I introduced in the first 1.8.9 beta. Is anyone who had the problem not running 1.8.9?

1.89 build 888 on both my systems. They both recorded negative to the CWOP and WU for Jan 1. Both cleared on Jan 2.

Maybe it's not the problem I think it is then. But it did seem that way for me, looking at my diags file. Was it just CWOP and Wu that got the negative, or is it logged in Cumulus itself too? If your diags folder still has the file(s) from Jan 1, could you zip up the folder and attach it, please?

Here are the files from both systems, both are running Davis, one an older Vantage Pro, the other a Vantage Pro2. Same software, XP, Virtual VP, with Weatherlink also accessing data.

I've just realised you said version 1.89. That's the version I mentioned (1.8.9), where I introduced the problem. I had thought that as you were pointing it out, you were running an earlier version (as I'd specifically asked for people not running 1.8.9 to let me know if they'd had the problem), and your formatting of the version number threw me. Ho hum.
