Cumulus Support

If you take a look at one of the files in the Cumulus Diags folder (any text editor will do) you will probably find a line like the one below showing you the pressure values used by Cumulus (and any offsets you have applied).

Could the confusion come from the adjustment of the 1081 internally using Easyweather and the adjustment in Cumulus (assuming similar to operation of 1080 model).

Try opening Easyweather and go to System/Setup, at the bottom is absolute pressure (can not be changed) and relative which can be changed. This allows you to enter the corrected pressure (the differential between absolute and relative will always be the value you enter in the relative data entry box minus the value of absolute when you click save).

I have found the easiest way to use the system is to first do a near enough correction in Easyweather, then do any fine trimming in Cumulus.

Oh and the 1080 can display either Absolute or Relative to change it touch the pressure reading then use the + or - button to change between abs or rel.

I wrote to AWEKAS yesterday asking them how they made their decisions but in the meantime saw the Data Quality control pages used by AWEKAS for each PWS. http://www.awekas.at/de/qualcheck.php?art=baro&id=6186 This is my page for Air Pressure. A green line is used for the average of the nearby PWS air pressures and the blue line for my own station's air pressure. The difference is monitored and emails sent if this difference becomes "too great".

They only allow you to be 0.6 hPa from the average? I'm not sure the Fine Offset stations are up to that level of accuracy. But I suppose it depends on who they're comparing you with - only 2 other stations, it seems, and both of those are using a VP2?
