Does anyone know how to customize the NOAA report to look like a true F6 that the NWS issues?

Example:

Code: Select all

PRELIMINARY LOCAL CLIMATOLOGICAL DATA (WS FORM: F-6)

                                          STATION: MILWAUKEE WI
                                          MONTH: MARCH
                                          YEAR: 2022
                                          LATITUDE: 42 57 N
                                          LONGITUDE: 87 54 W

There are no customisation option afaik.
If you need such report you will have to create it yourself from the datafile(s).

Haha, no idea how I'd even approach this. Has anyone else done this or is there a guide that could help me learn?

Well, you can laugh about it but it requires just some programming knowledge and a short study on CMX datafiles.
I did other things, not exactly this. So I would say it is possible and it is not the most difficult thing to do actually.

You need to have programming knowledge which is something you have to acquire elsewhere.
Then I or somebody else can guide you through the wiki which contains all information you need (and if it does not contain it, it will be written one way or another).

No programming knowledge outside of minor html from years back. Looking like this is outside my wheelhouse unless I want to tinker.
