Cumulus not updating - Ecowitt

TP3000.. Was working perfectly until today. I noticed the last station update was hours ago. When I start stop CumulusMX it refreshes with new data but the last station update is like 10 minutes ago. Odd. I did try to use 5 minute interval in the config wizard and refreshed Cumulus but that didnt work. It worked with 1 minute intervals so I have it back to that.

I havent changed anything on the console.

Any thoughts or ideas? Ecowitt.com is updating normally.

Odd, I went into the WS View and my wifi wasnt listed there. But how did the Ecowitt site grab the updates?

Anyway, added the wifi and Cumulus still not updating. Something strange. I'll give it a few more minutes, if it works I'll post back

Odd, the IP address in the WS View was different than what the IP address of CMX is. Dont remember changing anything.

Fixed that, refreshed a couple times, and now its back.

Did you reboot your router as it is likely if you are not fixing the IP address in your router that DHCP automatically allocated a different IP address which would reflect the changes you saw.

Most routers have the ability to allocate a static IP to an individual device.

and, some routers do not allow that - they leave it to the device to use either a fixed or a dynamic IP address.

However, quite a few of these router allow a so-called MAC-address binding of the dynamic IP address, which will make it factually fixed, as this (originally dynamically given) IP address is now reserved for the device with that MAC address.
