Instromet datalogger only providing realtime data?

Hello All

First time Cumulus MX installation, using an Instromet weather station & datalogger on Windows 10 PC.

Software all installed without any trouble and data logger connected using RS232 serial port. Cumulus MX starts fine and on opening up data viewer, via Chrome browser real-time data is flowing through nicely, updating every second or so on dashboard and gauges. So am assuming that connection is fine and at least the real-time data feed from datalogger is working OK.

When left running, Cumulus seems to create an entry in the datalog every 10 minutes which also seems to be working fine.

However, on closing Cumulus and then re-opening a few hours later, I was hoping / expecting for the data from the intervening period to appear, but it doesn't seem to flow through?

Having searched through various helpful replies on this forum, I suspect it might be a datalogger problem so will get in touch with Instromet to get their opinion. However, just wanted to check with experts on Cumulus that I wasn't missing something obvious? I have attached the data / debug file from my most recent opening of Cumulus to see if anyone who knows what they are looking at can shed any light!

Thanks for any responses
Mike

Your logger is sending nonsense data back for the log entry date/times - 80 seconds and the year 9200!...

Thanks.

Just to close the loop - having fiddled with a few settings, I unticked the logger pointer option under Instromet Advanced Settings (as attached), restarted weather station and Cumulus and all working perfectly now. No idea if I have done the right or wrong thing but as it is working I'll leave well alone!
