Error: 500(error)
I just wanted to change the threshold for the NOAA max/min temps... I got this message when trying to save the changes.

Re: Error: 500(error)
I can't see anything in the log that shows this error.
Looking at the browser error message, it appears to be complaining about a component that is the incorrect version. Have you upgraded recently? If so, did all the changed files get copied into the installation? Also, do you get this message when saving any setting?

Re: Error: 500(error)
Looks like the "System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe.dll" file cannot be found, or it is the wrong version. This file is supplied in the CMX distribution zip.

No upgrade recently except Windows10 decides to do its own sometimes. Wish I can stop that.freddie wrote: ↑Tue 08 Feb 2022 2:51 pm I can't see anything in the log that shows this error.

Re: Error: 500(error)
As @mcrossley states, there's something kooky about a DLL file. I would find that one in your distribution zip and copy it in to your MX installation.Cambium wrote: ↑Tue 08 Feb 2022 3:57 pmNo upgrade recently except Windows10 decides to do its own sometimes. Re: Error: 500(error)
If the MX file is the one for build 3159 (the build number is in the filename) then extract the DLL and copy it to your MX installation. If it's not then you need to download the correct distribution file, and then extract the DLL and copy to your MX installation.

Re: Error: 500(error)
Yup, file name shows 3159. I tried copying and pasting and replacing the file in there but same thing happening. Where do I find the distribution file to download? Sorry if thats a dumb question.freddie wrote: ↑Tue 08 Feb 2022 4:53 pmIf the MX file is the one for build 3159 (the build number is in the filename) then extract the DLL and copy it to your MX installation. Does it have anything to do with the CreateMIssing.exe file downloaded and ran?

Re: Error: 500(error) [SOLVED]
Morning guys. Odd, I'm getting the same message again this morning when trying to save a setting in the NOAA Settings
Error: 500(error) - Error de-serializing NOAA Settings JSON: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Runtime.CompilerServices.Unsafe, Version=4.0.4.1, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)
EDIT:: Its working Now. Very strange. All I did was rename the Cumulus folder becasue I was going to redownload it again and wanted to keep the current folder without losing any data. But I renamed it back to CumulusMx. Tried opening the program again, and now it's saving fine. Odd.
