Ecowitt Battery Voltages.

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Ecowitt Battery Voltages.

Post by Phil23 »

Just notice this in my Diags file.
Battery Voltages seem to be reported as very low for my soil moisture sensors (4).
Reported as 0.3 Volt, while ecowitt.net shows them as OK.

Edit:- I also notice that it lists five WH51's while I only have 4.
Ecowitt.net & the Console also only list the 4.

Only other strange thing that might be in the mix is I do have an old La Crosse WS-9018 which still may have batteries in it's outdoor sensor.

Code: Select all

@Phil23
you should actively disable all sensors which you do not have in the sensors ID page in WS View (Plus) [ or in the Web UI if you have a GW1100/GW2000].
Same is true for the HP2551 (clone) console.
Leaving them on "registering" is a potential error cause for reporting nonsense, gibberish, ....
