Odd Rain Reading Appeared from WLL

Not sure if this is a WLL Issue or an Post Update issue?

I currently have a yearly Rain total of 8.6mm
Yesterday night at about 20:00hrs I got a 8.6mm of rain recorded on my Test CumulusMX install (running on a Windows PC)

However on the Bulleting for WLL it does't show as I had any rain.

Was this some sort of odd catch up, on both MX Installs for 8pm?

They were Updated and re-started at different time, so i first thought it would be the WLL?

I'm not sure what else to look for.

Just seems odd both installs done the same at 8pm?

Were both instances of CMX just "running" at that time, or were they both restarted and the rain appeared on restart?

Yes both were just running.
I have had some odd broadband issues, with intermittent connection issues.

The Raspberry-Pi should looks like it was re-start at 13:50

Does that look like I've lost Network and it thought that the Total Rain was then today's rain?

Or is where I'm trying to pull the data from 2 Different Locations PC and Raspberry causing me the issue?

I would almost guarantee it's something I've done, or my bad Network Connection??

At 20:01 the annual rainfall total on the WLL jumped from zero tips, to 43 tips = 8.6 mm of rain.

Did you edit the annual rainfall total on your WLL/wl.com at that time?

Cumulus MX uses the annual total to keep track of the rain, so if you change it, it will affect the CMX rain values too.

No nothing was changed at the time, I've also not changed any data on the WLL Site.

I have been having some WiFi issues so guessing it might have been that.

Hard to see what effect WiFi issues would have.

The rainfall total for the year stored in the WLL was zero (as was the month total).

Then at 20:01 it jumped to 8.6 mm which you say is the correct value, but the WLL month total was still zero at the end of that log file.

Something a bit odd going on for which I really have no explanation. I have never seen my WLL do anything like that.

What totals for the month and year do you have wl.com - on the dashboard and the summary pages?

On WLL My Rain Totals at the moment show as

15.2mm for the year and 6.6 for this month (so the yearly figure of 8.6mm) was correct.

And Attached is the CSV from WLL for the 2nd Feb which I can't see any rain data on for that date.

No, there will not be any rain registered on wl.com. It is purely the annual total that changed, but MX uses that to track the rainfall hence the big increase in one increment. Nothing much to do about that other than setting a rainfall spike value. But you are unlikely to ever see it again.
