Data Log Viewer not showing changed/edited values

I occasionally have to edit out humidity "spikes" from my data. I have noticed in the past couple of releases that the edited values are not shown in the Data Log Viewer as changed - although the value is changed in the monthly log files. Provided I remove cumulusmx.db, when I restart MX the edited values also show in the recent charts too. However after a restart they still have not changed in Data Log Viewer.
Not a big problem as I know the source values have changed, more of a curiosity.

Nothing has changed, it reads the monthly data log file directly for the data it returns.
Code: Select all
var lines = File.ReadAllLines(logfile);
Very odd!?

I have noticed that but Refresh seemed to fix it.

Yeah I thought of caching, but refresh didn't fix it for me.

That made me think of caching, but F5 doesn't fix it for me.
As an aside (but not completely off-topic), have you thought about writing these edits into cumulusmx.db too? It would save me having to stop, delete, start MX each time I do an edit. I should really read my graphs out of my database but haven't had the time over the past year!

By means of clarification I meant Refresh button on the page not an F5 or Ctrl+F5.

Ah okay, I didn't realise that was what you meant. I have just updated to the latest release and can still see the unedited values displayed

I will try refresh.

No, refresh didn't work either. It's so weird - I have restarted, I can see the new values in the monthly log and on the charts, yet the old values still appear in the log viewer.
EDIT: Even tried opening the interface in an incognito tab with the same result.

I suppose it should really
But the recent data is every minute, so what do you do with all the db entries between the log intervals?

I have 1-min logging so I hadn't given that much thought. I guess from the perspective of, say, 5-min logging you only overwrite the edited values to the log file and db? As to editing the intermediate points, they won't be editable - but that doesn't necessarily matter as the db data is volatile.
