Extra web file not found

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Extra web file not found

Post by Mapantz »

I have noticed that I am getting a warning in my diag:

Code: Select all

2022-01-31 19:45:00.565 Interval: Warning, extra web file[6] not found - C:\CumulusMX\web\sysT.php
I was using that file to test the WLL webtags a while ago, before I added the file permanently to my web server. I unchecked everything when I finished using it, but I also deleted the file.

The reason for the error is because the file has been deleted, despite CMX not set to do anything with the file. I made the file as a test, the error goes away, the modified date stays the same. Obviously, the fix is to remove the directory in the local filename setting. But, is that CMX's intended behaviour?

I noticed the same thing yesterday that after I unticked everything on the Remote file side it was showing in the MXdiags as Could not find a part of the path -
2022-01-30 15:00:00.412 Interval: Error copying extra file[2]: Could not find a part of the path 'public_html/cumulusmxbeta/Jan22log.txt'.
2022-01-30 15:00:00.413 Interval: Copying extra file[3] C:\KomokaWeather\CumulusMXgw1000\data\ExtraLog202201.txt to public_html/cumulusmxbeta/ExtraLog202201.txt
2022-01-30 15:00:00.415 Interval: Error copying extra file[3]: Could not find a part of the path 'public_html/cumulusmxbeta/ExtraLog202201.txt'.
2022-01-30 15:00:00.415 Interval: Copying extra file[4] C:\KomokaWeather\CumulusMXgw1000\data\dayfile.txt to public_html/cumulusmxbeta/dayfile.txt
2022-01-30 15:00:00.418 Interval: Error copying extra file[4]: Could not find a part of the path 'public_html/cumulusmxbeta/dayfile.txt'.
I removed everything from the Local filename side and then no more errors.

In the past there would not be any errors if the path was listed but nothing ticked on the remote side.

Enjoy,
Paul

If nothing is ticked, then the file is still copied if both paths are present. That is how you copy the wxnow file for instance.
