Change of IP address

Hi all, I had to change from wifi to Ethernet in a hurry as the wifi dongle decided to have a strop. I've started CMX but it's changed teh IP adress and using localhost I can see the display but nothing appears to be working (all zeroes). I've had a quick look at the settings, but I'm not sure what I've got to do to recover CMX. Any help would be very appreciated. The data is still going up to Ecowitt.
Many thanks
Malcolm

It is not finding the station as you are getting

Code: Select all

2022-01-29 07:57:00.139 Minimum data set of pressure, temperature, and wind is not available and NoSensorCheck is not enabled. Skip processing
So no data is being passed. You say the IP address has changed. Do you mean of the ECowitt station or the CumulsMX computer. If it is the Computer then the Ecowitt station is sending the data to the wrong IP address so you need to change the IP address it is sending out to in the Customised settings set up.

Hmm, I posted a reply about resolving this but it's disappeared.
Try again,
Thanks water01, I had reasoned that that was the issue and corrected the IP address on the console, but with no joy. When I looked again, I saw that I has mistyped the IP address so I corrected it and all is now working :D .
Fortunately I did the work to insert the missing data from December, so I can do this again with the data from the console backup. It's not being done by VBA and is specific to an HP2552, but I can explain it if anyone's interested. It does need finessing!

That can happen when someone else posts on the same topic before you actually send your post. I try do a Preview before Send on longer messages to avoid loosing my post.

p.s. glad you got your connection issue resolved.

Enjoy,
Paul
