Downloading data from WS3085

Hi
got a WS3085 for Christmas. When the control unit showed about 25% memory data, I attempted to download the data from the control unit to my PC using the Cumulus software.
Apparently, the software does not seem to have a menu point "data download". All other options only show today's data.
The data of the past 14 weeks must be in the memory of the control unit but I can't seem to get to it. Tried all relevant & inutitive options, like "fetch data" but to no avail.

I am probably making a silly mistake somewhere (age 68).

Any pointers are most welcome

thanks

Dieter

Yes, thank you. I only wish I had known this before. Nothing is mentioned in the handbook of the WS3085. We had severe weather recently but I had not used Cumulus. Just collected the data in the control unit. I am hesitant to use the method described in FAQ. Perhaps someone has done this before and can advise.

thanks again & regards

I have a WS3085 which is now only used as a backup (not used since Aug21). I uninstalled Cumulus1 including the cumulus folder and then reinstalled. Ran Cumulus1 and re entered the station details, shut down, restated then shut down again. Using notepad I did as the FAQ said and saved it in the data folder as today.ini. Cumulus downloaded all the files after the start date I had used in the today.ini.
The WS3085 default data interval is 30 min. and there is an excellent utility program SetLogger.exe available in wiki form.
Not sure if the WS3085 firmware has been updated but others including mine were prone to locking up, screen still showed current data but Cumulus could not download anything
