I have a leaf wetness sensor arriving tomorrow, hopefully!

I am hoping to be able to be able to differentiate between rain and dew, etc

Does Cumulus MX provide the webtag with decimal places? As I see the WLL shows it, unlike the console..

@Mapantz

I've just got my reply from Davis
Hi Stephan,

The latest firmware for the WL live is v1636079858 - Nov 8, 2021
The latest firmware for the AirLink is from Oct 21, 2020

If you're running older firmware, please reply with the DID number of your device, and we'll check it, and have our engineers update it for you.
Have replied with the DID of my WLL and will see if I get an update, as I'm still currently on 2021-05-22
The Airlink is fine..

Next Update
I've sent your WL Live information to engineering to be updated.

The health data page on the site shows WLL (Weatherlink Live) information. It won't show AirLink info.
However on my Healthpages.

I seem to have Airlink data

I had that email on Monday, and responded straight away. I was told it would be updated within a day or two, still nothing.. What do Davis employees do all day?

I was just looking at my graphs and spotted a dip to zero in some of them.. The WLL has dropped or something?

Upon further investigation, my WLL has had it's firmware. Still no health data showing on the bulletin page, though.

Also, in the one hour it has been on the new firmware, I have seen more bad packets than accumulated over 5 days prior. 17 vs 8. I hope that's not a sign..

I'm guessing that's just akin to a typo, but the health data is of course not on the Bulletin page but on the 'Health Data' tab/menu option on the Device tab of the Configuration page, ie the spanner/wrench icon in the right-hand sidebar.

Yes, sorry John. I was just using it as a reference to the Davis site.

But, health data is still empty. It is provided in the API, so it must be an issue with their website..

If you care to eg PM me your wl.com user name and pw then I'll take a look. Appreciate you may prefer not to do so, but it's tricky to troubleshoot accounts without being able to look inside.

I've still not had mine updates.

Perhaps mine will also be updated soon,. I think I was a few days behind on the Davis Email about them pushing out the Firmware update.

No problem, but please be patient! Davis engineers/developers (as opposed to support) are now aware of the issue and can reproduce it, which are both key steps in getting a resolution.

But this won't automatically mean that a quick fix is possible. Hopefully a speedy resolution is possible of course, but it's rather an odd bug as to why it seemingly affects just a handful of WLL stations and may need some detailed investigation at Davis and possibly awaiting the release of the next maintenance version of the wl.com code. But fingers crossed that it will be sooner rather than later.

Thanks John,

That's great news.
At least they are listening and are aware of the issue.

In being able for them to replicate the issue at least we know it's not just us.
