Re: WLL Questions
Live update on the WL App does not work for me 99% of time, very occasionally it has worked briefly. I *can* make it work 100% of time though by running another app* at the same time.
* DS Audio by Synology Inc. The app does not have to be logged in or even configured, just running on the phone.

Re: WLL Questions
I don't understand how the app can be so bad?
Today of all days, it doesn't update any faster than about 20 seconds, despite the word 'Live' being there. Yet, Cumulus MX can get the readings every 2.5 seconds, with no issues..

Re: WLL Questions
Though I found the other day whether that app makes it work or not does seem to depend which WiFi access point I am attached to (I run a mesh system). Most of the time I am on the same node as the WLL. Though Cumulus MX successfully listens to exactly the same multi-casts as the WL App, and that is always on a different mesh node from the WLL.

Re: WLL Questions
No different today after rebooting everything.
Says live but updates mainly every 20 seconds on average.
It started off fine when I bought the WLL, so I thought the issues had been fixed.. but they haven't. The same thing happened when I got a WLL the first time around. Nothing on my network has changed..
I've just noticed, when I open the weatherlink app, I get this in my logs:
^ That shows up every one minute if I have the app open. CMX is also getting stuck and not showing data every 2.5 seconds, not all the time, but randomly..
I've also found a bunch of these:
I honestly lose my rag with this WLL. It is so unreliable! The app is a complete waste of time if "Live" doesn't work. CMX is logging lots of multicast errors etc
I got rid of the WLL the first time, as it was pointless having it with its unreliability.

@mapantz
Do you have the WLL Hardwired, or are you using Wi-Fi?
And have you tried a Wired connection?

Re: WLL Questions
I know it's not my phone, or any other Android device, as I have tested on many. I do remember last time, the app was fine on my brother's iPhone. I kept on at Davis about this, and it seemed as though they fixed it, but no, exactly the same issue has appeared again. If you read the comments on the Play store, hundreds of reviews say the same thing.. I'm quite surprised it has a rating of 3 stars if I am honest!
