Trouble Sending Data to WINDY.COM

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Now got my Custom HTTP Call working (had to change to http)

SO that will also be why they WINDY isn't working.
Not sure how to update the SSL however on mono

Code: Select all

Mono JIT compiler version 6.12.0.122 (tarball Mon Feb 22 17:44:05 UTC 2021)
Copyright (C) 2002-2014 Novell, Inc, Xamarin Inc and Contributors. www.mono-project.com
        TLS: __thread
        SIGSEGV: normal
        Notifications: epoll
        Architecture: armel,vfp+hard
        Disabled: none
        Misc: softdebug
        Interpreter: yes
        LLVM: yes(610)
        Suspend: preemptive
        GC: sgen (concurrent by default)
Have tried.

Code: Select all

 mozroots --import --ask-remove
ANd also

Code: Select all

cert-sync --user /etc/pki/tls/certs/ca-bundle.crt
So I think I'm getting somewhere now, it's just an SSL Issue across all of them now.

Have you tried the steps in this thread?

Code: Select all

sudo apt install -y ca-certificates
sudo sed -i '/^mozilla\/DST_Root_CA_X3.crt$/ s/^/!/' /etc/ca-certificates.conf
sudo update-ca-certificates
Then reboot.

Thanks Mark./

Happy New Year to you as well.

Code: Select all

2022-01-01 11:35:01.998 Windy: URL = https://stations.windy.com/pws/update/<<API_KEY>>?station=0&dateutc=2022-01-01+11:35:00&winddir=216&wind=2.2&gust=6.7&temp=14.8&precip=0.00&pressure=10.1632&dewpoint=11.0&humidity=78&uv=0.0
....
....

2022-01-01 11:35:02.291 Windy: Response = OK: SUCCESS (valid measurements count: 9, valid station info count: 0)
That fixed that issue.
Still hasn't fixed my custom http call if I change that to https i get a 301 moved error.

Code: Select all

~2022-01-01 11:35:54.502 CustomHttpSeconds: Querying - https://www.cm2weather.co.uk/importtosql.php?type=realtime&key=<<MYKEY>>&table=Realtime&file=./realtime.txt
...
...

2022-01-01 11:35:55.303 CustomHttpSeconds: Response status code does not indicate success: 301 (Moved Permanently).
But I can live with that as it works in normal http.

Oh,
on you About pages your Davis Airlink, and you home made insect screen.
Did you know inside the sensor there is a screen built in. (see Page 7 under Maintenance)

You just have to move it to the front.
Not sure why it's not on by default.... Apart from it says its calibrated without.

Happy New Year, and thanks.

Ha! Yes, I found the Davis screen after I did my mod (whole reads the manual!). But I think mine is easier to clean and access so I have stuck with it.

I only noticed when I was trying to work out how the bracket worked...

So read the manual as I didn't want to break it trying to snap it odd.

Notice about the screen and thought of your mod.

Why they hid it away like that I do not know.

Next mod for me will be a Weather Link live I think.
