Error reading from WLL at startup

Hi,

I recently took out a Pro Subscription on WLL to enable data catch-up as I don't have a logger. I am running CMX as a service and when I reboot, the service starts but then errors when it starts to read the Davis WLL. If I restart the service then it starts reading WLL fine and does the data catch-up. Attached is the diags file.

Appreciate if someone could give me some assistance.

Regards,
Trevor

It looks like you may have Cumulus MX auto-starting and the system was rebooted. MX is starting, but the network does not look like it has connected fully at that point.

I'd look at adding a start-up delay, and/or a start-up ping of something on the internet to your config.

If you add a delay you have the option of only using that delay for so long after a system boot, that way the delay only applies after a boot, and you can restart CMX immediately once the OS has been running for a while.

Thanks Mark. I've applied a 20 second start-up delay and that seems to have solved the issue.
