Wind Average Question - answered

I'm in the process of building a new website layout and I'm adding a few new webtags to it, since they've been added to CMX. I just never got around to doing it before..

Is that the average speed since midnight? The same value that shows up in the NOAA data?

Answered my own question with a quick Stephen Hawking calculation..
217.1 miles / 23.5 hours = 9.2 mph.
For anyone else wanting that answer, it is yes!
