How do i change a daily low value?

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

How do i change a daily low value?

Post by David9723 »

I'm using 3.14.1 (build 3160)

I had a day this month where the low was reported at 0 when it was 35F, how do i change that days low? It is also wrong on my monthly highs/lows page and NOAA reports.

Thanks

You need to take a few steps, assuming the event happened this month ...

1. Use the log file editor to find the record for that day that contains to zero value - hopefully there will only be one. Either delete that record, or set the temperature to match the values either side of it.

2. Use the day file editor in MX to correct the record for that day. Load the values from the monthly files and it should give you the correct minimum for that day.

3. Use the record editors to fix the records for "this month", "monthly" - for December. Possibly "this year" and "all time" as well depending on your location and length of time running Cumulus.

How do i change the NOAA month report as it still says 0F?

This happened Dec 16 2021 at 12:46am

I use WLL it's been working fine for months. I have 7 years of data first issue i've ever had unless it was self done. :)

If the NOAA reports are this month then they will regenerate at the next rollover. But you can force a regen by loading the report in the admin interface and clicking the Regenerate button.
