Adding a GW1100 Station to an Existing Cumulu MX Install

From build 3044 the development baton passed to Mark Crossley. Mark has been responsible for all the Builds since. He has made the code available on GitHub. It is Mark's hope that others will join in this development, but at the very least he welcomes your ideas for future developments (see Cumulus MX Development suggestions).

Adding a GW1100 Station to an Existing Cumulu MX Install

Post by SJG1976 »

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask.
But it seems a logical place.

Currently running Cumulus with a Davis Vantage Pro 2 and wanting to add some extra sensors for Lightening detetion.

What is the best way too add the GW1100 station to my install, is it just via extra sensors and using HTTP calls

Or is there another way.

I've also gone for a soil moisture sensor as well.

Planning to add a Davis Airlink as well when they arrive.

Is this all going to work?

Oh and Merry Christmas.

A simple yes is all that is needed for this reply.

I use the older GW1000 for lightning, and that is being logged by my CumulusMX Davis setup via HTTP.

Also, my AirLink data is being logged in the same way - all built in to CumulusMX - easy to set up.

If you get any issues, just pop back here with any questions, and somebody will help out. :)
